The eleven skills
| Gathering and crafting | Combat and movement |
|---|---|
| Farming, Foraging, Mining, Fishing, Excavation, Alchemy, Enchanting | Archery, Defense, Fighting, Agility |
Every skill caps at level 50. The curve is nonlinear and designed for long-term play, with a smoother climb than the earlier server balance.
Early ability milestones
Ability layouts vary by skill, but the main progression rhythm is:
| Skill level | What begins appearing |
|---|---|
| 3 | Everyday gathering bonuses such as Lucky Catch, Lucky Miner, Lumberjack, Bountiful Harvest, and Bigger Scoop |
| 5 | Movement and rare-discovery abilities such as Fleeting, Metal Detector, and Treasure Hunter |
| 10 | Stronger discoveries plus Replenish and Speed Mine |
| 15 | Charged Shot, Sharp Hook, Absorption, and Lightning Blade |
| 35 | The second and final rank of each skill's identity XP bonus |
Open the relevant skill page in /skills for its exact unlocks, effects, mana costs, and cooldowns.
Passive and mana abilities
The live balance has 63 enabled passive abilities and 8 mana abilities. Passives provide controlled benefits within defined limits. Active abilities spend mana and use cooldowns.
Notable active abilities include:
- Treecapitator: brings down connected logs and now contributes to Foraging progression.
- Terraform: clears matching terrain blocks within its configured limits.
- Speed Mine: provides a short Haste II mining burst.
- Replenish: helps replant crops.
- Sharp Hook: gives fishing a quick active tool.
- Charged Shot, Absorption, and Lightning Blade: offer bounded combat options.
Treecapitator and Terraform each have eight ranks. If either block ability behaves unexpectedly near a protected Land or server region, stop using it there and report the location to staff.
Permanent stat milestones
Level rewards now build a modest permanent character profile instead of paying automatic milestone money.
- Luck: earned gradually through Mining, Fishing, and Enchanting.
- Movement speed: earned gradually through Agility.
- Health and toughness: earned through Alchemy and Defense.
- Strength and critical bonuses: distributed across combat and physical skills.
- Wisdom and mana regeneration: earned through mana-focused progression.
The bonuses are deliberately bounded so normal equipment, preparation, and Minecraft survival mechanics continue to matter.
Discoveries
Fishing and Excavation can produce occasional themed discovery loot. Possible finds include modest quantities of shards, glow ink, bones, spectral arrows, name tags, shells, and music discs.
Discoveries are useful surprises—not guaranteed income and not a progression shortcut.
Troubleshooting
If an active does not fire, check:
- Your skill level.
- Current mana.
- The ability cooldown.
- The required tool and activation action shown in the skill menu.
For XP or ability questions, record the skill, activity, level, location, and full message. Java and Bedrock players should also report menu or movement differences.
